Default interior trim panels question

Installing interior on '30 fordor. There are wooden strips which fit on each of the center door posts and the interior panel (cardboard strip covered with cloth) is attached to these strips. Do these wooden strips go under the windlace welting or is the welting put in first and then the wooden strips.

packrat6 Unfortunately, I do not have the exact answer to your question, but I can tell you is my Blindback has the wind lace tacked in first and then the strip was inserted. I do not have any wooden strips, just the interior wrapped around what seems to be cardboard. I don't know if it was glued by PO, but it has fallen out.
