Re: Sealed Beam to Quartz Halogen
Remove the sealed beams and see what remains of the original (reflectors, wiring, etc), then ck what you just observed against a pictorial in most vendor's catalogs to see what you need to order.

Re: Sealed Beam to Quartz Halogen
I am using everything stock except for the bulbs--- 35watt bulbs-- never battery low using stock generator-, original sockets and reflectors---- it not so much the wattage, my halogens take less amps than seal beams--- focus is very important, many aftermarket halogen systems don't focus

Will check to see what is left inside the light. Kurt, where did you get your 35 watt bulbs?

Once you commit to an alternator, isn't the authenticity war lost? Why extend the inconvenience by sticking with 6V? Last edited by steve s; 05-01-2018 at 02:37 PM. |
