Default Stupid problem.. but I need to ask. wipers/wiper arm connection

So I have the following wiper and wiper arm.
http://dennis-carpenter.com/windshie...p/A8C-17528-A/
http://dennis-carpenter.com/windshie...rm/p/1C-17526/

For the the life of me I cannot seem to figure out how they connect together. It looks obvious but the arm will not insert into the blade. I do not want to damage these trying to force it. So hopefully someone has had this issue before be and can give me some advice. Do not have the old ones to compare too.

Did you try rolling it in from the other direction than shown on the pic?

Here is how mine snapped together. Must be right because I couldn't get it apart to show how it clicks in.

Capt Kirk. I did look at putting the other direction it does not look like it will fit at all.

51 Merc. That looks just like what I was trying to do... with a lot of force. So I thought. I will try a little harder today and see what happens. By the way pretty cool how you altered the pic! THANKS all for the quick responses.

I have tried repeatedly with no success. I have had 2 other people try with no success. They just will not go together. I guess I will have to chalk it up to quality control.
