Default Jack town Today!

I'm late in making the announcement, but the Jacktown show is this weekend better known as the Blue Mountain steam and gas engine show. Tractor Pulls, machinery, Hit and miss engines, there was the guy with the Lycoming 600 (?) "Round engine" Radial engine. It's set up to run and he starts it up at intervals. It's awesome to hear! The sawmill was working and cranking out lotsa lumber off the old steam powered tractor. That is awesome to watch too. Yesterday was a good day, good attendance, and very little mud! Still the best homemade ice cream anywhere. Youtube, Jacktown

I forgot the mention that there were about 5 or 6 Model A s on the field yesterday. What That means is anybody's guess. I hope it's a sign that that mod. A guys will take a bigger part in the show. There's always been a presence of Mod A s, but never a large showing. If there was anyone from the Ford Barn, I can only say Thanks for coming, guys!

The model A's that you saw at Jacktown in the back field were members of the Lehigh Valley Model A club. We were having our October meeting that morning, and then enjoyed the show and flea market that day. We are the same club that runs the Trexlertown Model A show in the spring. Any excuse to run our cars. Checkout our Facebook page for pictures.
