Default Nasser Bin Abdullatif Alserkal's Model A Cabriolet in Dubai

I've been digging around Dubai, The United Arab Emirates, looking for Model A's. The only two I could find so far belong to Nasser Bin Abdullatif Alserkal and are located in his private museum in downtown Dubai.

According to the museum guard, his 1931 68B Cabriolet and 1930 Coupe hotrod were imported from the US many years ago.

Here is his Cabriolet (Note that the bumper also serves as a floor rag drying rack):

Here is the engine compartment:

....and the engine number (looks re-stamped):

....and his hotrod Coupe:

....and here is a photo of the building that houses the museum. The Cabriolet front can be seen in the third (slim) window to the left of the front door.

Does anyone recognize these Model A's and maybe know the history of them? If they were perhaps your car at one time....well guess what?....they're in Dubai now!

The museum also houses four Model T's, several 50's cars, military Jeeps, etc, etc.

Does anyone, by chance, know of any other Model A's in this part of the world?

Fordially,
Brad in the United Arab Emirates

Brad: The 68B has a very interesting pair of headlight lenses which should be a feature that is not on many Model A's, much less a Cabriolet. First guess was '28 lenses, but I don't think so. The lenses should help identify the history of the car.

I also think the owner has the fanciest garage in town......... Gar Williams

Gar,

I believe the head light lenses are Model T lenses.

I would guess that it is probably not the fanciest garage in town. I'm thinking that the guy who drove his Bugatti Veyron to the shopping mall across town this evening (where I went for dinner this evening) would probably have a fancier man cave. When money is no issue, anything is possible....

The 68B was also the choice of the King of Spain.
