Cool Headlight Rims

Hello, I'm new to this forum and my question my have already been posted but here goes anyway. Will 1940 Ford Deluxe Headlight Rims fit on a 1939 Ford Deluxe without any modifications? The parking lenses will be converted to directional signals. Thanks

I didn't think the 40 headlight rims would fit the 39 without modifications but maybe I am wrong.

Here's 40 headlight rims on a Mercury.

Here's some good reading that may help. I get the feeling it's not a direct bolt in.

I had 40 rims on my 39 deluxe when I got it. I think the buckets were also 40 allowing for sealed beams. I think the 39 rims are nicer looking.

I am putting 39 head lights in my 41 pickup . As far as I know you would need the complete head light assembly not just the trim ring. Best of luck, Tim

My 39 Deluxe was converted to sealed beams many years ago, probably before my uncle bought it in 1951. They look like they are from a 40 but no park lights. There were after market conversion kits available at the time too.
