Default How to install the Ford Patent Data Plate

How do I install the Ford Patent Data Plate with the Drive Rivets on my 1929 Phaetons Cowl? I have never done this before.

You can just tap the rivets into the hole, as the serrated part should hold them tight in the hole.
If they are loose, then you may have to use split rivets, and have someone hold the front side tight, while you spread the back part.

Some of the drive in rivets have a blunt coarse spiral formed on them . I get a helper inside the car with a small small socket on a long extension pressing hard to act as a buck where the rivet comes through .

John in Merry Xmas to you all Suffolk County England .
