very front body mounting rubber block?
I am building a 1930 huckster and was wondering about the body mounting block for hole #1 between the cowl and frame. should it be wood and rubber , or just wood or just all rubber? any help would be appreciated.thanks

Re: very front body mounting rubber block?
it takes rubber and they can be stacked to adjust the hood and body alignment

Re: very front body mounting rubber block?
My 28 Phaeton and 29 Tudor has a wood block with a fabric reinforced rubber pad nailed to the bottom of the wood block. To this you can add more rubber pads for shimming if needed.

Re: very front body mounting rubber block?
The 28-29 bodies have a wooden block attached to the body, with a rubber pad under that. The 30-31 bodies do not have the wooden block, and just the rubber pad.
