Yes, they fit. However, they are not the same quality of the real McCoys. If you are doing a restoration that you plan on showing at any level above the local "McDonalds" I'd strongly advise getting a set of authentic boards vulcanized by Acuff.
I just got another set back last week from him. They are beautiful.

I've had 4 sets of boards done by Hunley and they are PERFECT!!! 2 sets for 40 Mercs,1 36 Ford and 1 40 Ford.

I also have a set of '39 running boards that were done by Mr. Acuff; however, the boards that were on our '39 were South American made replacements (not original Ford), that had been installed in the '60's. Mr. Acuff recommended that I get a set of steel boards from Bob Drake and he vulcanized them. They look super and fit just like the originals.
