Default ' 37 Ford Replacement Panels

Who has the best replacement panels? Seem everything needs messaged, is there one re manufacture I can get it all? Seems you buy one thing here something somewhere else. It gets confusing to me, anyone else? I kind of depend on a part fitting, some of my fab. skills aren't as good as the seasoned veterans I read here. So any guidance would be much appreciated.

The best is questionable? Patch panels for 37 's are made by only a couple manufacturers. You will have to some degree of sheet metal and welding skill to install any of them. If you are looking for OE quality parts its not going to happen, some pieces are better than others and any panel is better than none. You might specify what part you wish to replace and people will post to give you their experience with that particular part and go from there.

I realize there is a degree in fab. of any installation. Tail panel, toolbox compartment, cowl panels, fender repair panels. And the like. Some of these items are easier bought than fab'd. I guess I was looking for the closest fit from one re-manufacturer rather than here and there. Any info is defiantly appreciated. I don't mind sayin' some of this stuff I just don't know.

I think EMS are pretty much it now for the rear panel and tool tray.
They also make a rear 1/4 panel along with Drake.
Also Drake used to make the tool tray - beautiful piece of work.

If you have a sedan, check with Drake on the tool tray and outer panel. If you have a coupe you are stuck with EMS. Their panels work , but you better be prepared to do a lot of massaging on them.

I agree...EMS panels are not great. I bought their inner and outer cowl panels, rocker panels, 1/4 panel panels and rear fender to running board patches. I was able to use the rear fender and quarter panel pieces with a little work. I ended up making the inner and outer cowl patches and rocker panels as the EMS were too much work to alter and fit. I still have the inner cowl panels and rockers if you're interested....lol.

I'm doing a customers 40 tudor now and when finished will have used parts from at least 30 suppliers/makers etc. It goes with the territory. What I dislike the most is the wasted time and money spent returning parts that with a LITTLE more attention on the makers part would work fine. Luck.

You could try Howell's Sheet Metal in Beaumont TX. www.fordor.com they make all kinds of repop panels for F.O.R.D.'s Man I would love to drop in on that steep hill with my skateboard, a ride to death! Only if I were 30 years younger!
