Does anyone offer a rebuild kit for the vacuum cylinders? Also looking for a good vacuum control switch. Thanks

I dont know of anyone selling a rebuild kit for these. When I did my 40 Convertible I disassembled the cylinders and cleaned them inside and out. Ran a fine cylinder hone down them to clean them up and soaked the leather cups in Marvel Mystery Oil . My shafts were a little rusty and had some small pitting. I had them chrome plated. There is a small seal in the very top that seal the shaft and it is available over the counter, they can match it up for you. If I can find it I have a # for that seal somewhere. I might have a switch ,will look tomorrow when I get home .

I have an extra vacuum control switch for a 40. Neats Foot oil works well on the leather cups. If the cylinder walls are pitted, a light honing will clean them up. RPM
