As stated by Wensum, the drag link needs to be adjustable to get the steering centered lock to lock with wheels straight ahead to get minimum freeplay at center. I believe the drag link needed to be lengthened about 1/2" in my situation.

Interesting that the short arm has the top of the ball cut flat, vs the round ball on the long arm.

All that means is that the manufacturer and/or vendor paid Ford to use their name on the product. It doesn't guarantee the quality.
