41 cpe rear bumper irons
just put front bumper on my 41 cpe. car is painted and i never mocked up the bumpers. all went well, whew. my question is the rear irons do not look like they sandwich the frame as the front ones do. can anyone save me some time and let me know how they bolt to the frame? thanks

On my 41 both are on the outside of the frame.

Re: 41 cpe rear bumper irons
If you look closely at the frame rail you may be able to see if there is an old "imprint" of the bumper bracket locations. Just an idea. Below is a photo of the 39 and 40 car rear bumper brackets for comparison. On these the inner bracket bolts to the cross member and the outer bracket bolts to the outside of the side rail.
