Default Top Dressing

Years ago you could buy top dressing by the quart but I don't seem to be able to find it anywhere. What do you all suggest to seal the top material. This is on a 160-A 4 door Town Sedan.

As far as I know, all of those dressings used asbestos and when it was banned, many stopped producing it. Those that continues started using glass fibre (as in fibre glass - surfboards etc). The one I use is called Duraseal made by Ormonoid. You will need to see if it is available over there. There is hope.

Just a thought; would the black "Flex-Seal" paint work? It comes in small cans that can brush on and dries like a film of rubber. I've used it on my wooden house shutters and seems to withstand heat and cold OK.
