Winter Storage
My father passed away recently and has left me his Model A's, I have been more focused on restoring our early american motorcyles and failed to ask my father questions on storage for the winter.....I know that A's use distilled water for coolant, is it necessary to add antifreeze or perhaps drain the motor of coolant to prevent any freezing and potential damage. Thanks for the help!

Re: Winter Storage
Drain the water in any case. Or refill with a good 50/50 mix and run the car for a little bit. Either pull the battery or put a tender on it. If it goes dead it can freeze. Drain the gas or at least add a stabilizer to it. What kind of bikes do you have, I'd guess at least a Harley JD. Send me a private message if you like. i've got a bunch.
