John, I have the book. Just miss read the catalog drawing. The 1st/Revers looks good.

In my experience it is not uncommon for the '32-'35 straight tooth cluster low gear to be galled and the slider gear to be usable after close inspection. I'd recommend replacing the cluster, they seem to be plentiful.

Lots of wear, but still usable, although I wouldn't (reuse it). That transmission seems to have had plenty of miles on it.

What would it cost to put a full set of the L-Z Gears in? I didn't see it as a set in the Van Pelt Catalog.
