Depends. What's nice to you? Some people consider a mostly original pieced together rusted A with an older repaint and a worn out engine and chassis 'nice'. I see those for $10-$15k. There are ones that have a rebuilt engine and somewhat refreshed chassis, which is what I would think of as nice, for $15-20k.

Thanks Johnnya this (A) has great interior like the original, rebuilt engine some time ago with not very many miles, a nice black paint job with no rust. I have other Model A,s and have run out of room. Just trying to figure out what to price it at.

Having said that, 1930 Tudor is not all that rare of a beast - I looked at a couple during my search. I'd have to say that even in California a 1930 Tudor would have to be pretty doggone "nice" to justify a $20K asking price. I think Johnnya101 is closer to what I'd expect to see. JayJay

Bill, I found while spending time comparing prices someone already bought what I wanted. I find the time to buy it is when you see it. What is the car worth to you? Good luck.

Re: Nice 1930 2Dr. Sedan
It costs real money to go look at a car that is hours away. If its really nice, trailering it home can become expensive too. A half dozen excursions with mileage and hotels will put you down a few thousand at the start.
Contact the clubs in your state, there are cars out there for sale. And remember, photos do not reveal the overall condition of the car. Without a professional inspection, where wheels, oil pans, etc are removed, the novice has little chance of knowing what he is getting. That said, we are enjoying our 31 coupe every day that is nice and have driven many thousands of miles in 19 months of ownership. It hasn't been cheap, but we're in our 70's and running out of time to do such things. No regrets, I'd do it all again.

Something to remember here also is, the interpretation of "nice".
That could run from all original unrestored to "touring", to "slightly modified with 12 volts, modern lights, hydraulic brakes, turn signals, etc etc". |

Re: Nice 1930 2Dr. Sedan
I watched a '30 Tudor sell at an auction in September, ran but was maybe a #3 condition car had a decent interior but really needed paint and body work redone. Roof was trash. Underside looked like it had been thru the Gulf War on the Highway of Death....sold at $11,000 which I thought was pretty high for the car in that condition.
Saw another one at a farm sale last June in non running condition it was nasty, go for 9500 bucks. I've been away from pricing too long I wouldn't pay that for a Tudor they are plentiful. |

Re: Nice 1930 2Dr. Sedan
I guess I was very fortunate to get my 31 Tudor delux for $9000. Top end of motor rebuilt. It looks and runs good. It did need a tune up and gas tank cleaned up.
