Default "BAB" prefix on bumper arms

I have a number of NOS bumper arms for Ford. They are stamped with a "BAB" prefix followed by 'good" numbers (correspond with Ford bumper arms).

Problem is, I have no clue what "BAB" (year , model) means.

Any help?

Thanks!

I've got a '66 radiator fan that has a 'CF' before the regular part number and supposedly(?) it stands for: cooling fan.
Maybe 'BAB' is for: bumper arm bracket ?

Having a good picture of it might help figure it out.

If it's poorly stamped, and possible that the number is EAB instead of BAB......, then EAB is the prefix for certain '52 and '53 passenger car parts.

Scicala,
Thanks much for your help. I have attached a couple of photos. I am quite certain I am reading the digits correctly. Anything Ford past 1948, I admit --- I am lost.

Ford sometimes slapped alternate internal-to-them identification on parts. I've seen it in manuals. They're usually part of an assembly. The more standard numbers (like BA59 for '59 Ford passenger car parts) came about a bit later. The link below explains their numbering system pretty well.

Yes Kube, I agree. The brackets sure aren't marked EAB. I would guess older than 1952, but have no clue.
