Default Help with ID of heads

Just picked up what I think to be a 50/52 8ab truck motor , but I'm having trouble trying to ID it. The heads have casting # 39B & EAB6050D on them . I'm still cleaning and looking for numbers on the block. I wondered if there are other ID # to help. I would appreciate any help, as I'm a newbee at this. THANK'S GUYS

FoMoCo started to make a lot of changes in their part numbering system in the early 50s. As Bruce mentioned Ford = EAB and Mercury in the 52/53 time frame was EAC. It took from 1951 to about 1955 before they settled completely on an alpha numeric numbering system that is still in use today.
