Anyone know where I can get some kind of strips like those in the pic?

How about '35 or '36 hood strips. Might have to cut and splice to get the lengths you need; but stainless is easy to modify and polish.

Stainless half round stock is another option. Milling the top flat would give it a more pleasing shape.

McMaster-Carr has both stainless steel and aluminum that can be polished to look like chrome. They come in just about any size you could want.

Mcmillan Rod and Custom specializes in stainless trim strips such as these. Google and you will get their website.

On our '41, we used left over stainless from the body to put between the door carpet and upholstery so it all matched.
