Default Valve spring removal with heads on possible??

Have not tried yet figuring I would ask the pros before I try to wrestle them out. It’s a 59 block with mushroom stem valves and 185 isky springs.was wondering if I can get springs out of there without pulling heads?

Unless the camshaft and lifters are removed to allow the springs down the lifter bores, I don't see how it will work. Just not enough room.
