So, Anybody score big at Hershey?
Things looked pretty picked over. The first half of Wednesday was a bust for me, the afternoon got better.
Picked up Rt and Lt tail original light mount brackets for a 32 Two 32 rear lens 32 front shackles NOS SW fuel gauge Old Motors book Hose clamps 8ba gen bracket 7x16 Firestone's battery charger for my 6v Optima Passed on the $20K Frenzel unit, sure was pretty. Had a lot of fun, good conversations with people and wore out my favorite shoes. |

Re: So, Anybody score big at Hershey?
Went Thursday only and picked up a nice 40 Delux steering wheel for $40, unknown roadster/cabriolet/convertible rear window surround - beautiful shape - $10, and some gauges I can use to fill out a 40 standard gauge panel - $15 total. At 3:30 the rains came and it was all over way to quickly for the day. It was a great day hanging with my buds, making deals, despite the rain ....

Re: So, Anybody score big at Hershey?
We weren't 300' into the park until we found a complete set of original small hubcaps for my son's `57 Pontiac. We have looked and looked before without any luck. What a washout!

Re: So, Anybody score big at Hershey?
My son got a Tonka truck and that was it. I delivered a set of tires and we were water logged by lunch. Once my 5 year old starts shivering and wimpering its time to go.

Re: So, Anybody score big at Hershey?
My daughter spotted and very nice radiator blanket accessory for our Model T. Very unique and reasonably priced. She's got much better eyes for the stuff than either my wife or I.

Re: So, Anybody score big at Hershey?
Scored a little, didn't try too hard. I only looked on the dry days. All Hershey's are good (like that other activity) but some are better than others, rain is the norm. A friend walked all four days and found a lot of early V8, but I heard Dick Spadaro did the best of anyone regarding 32 NOS parts. Results, 1948-50 NOS 1/2 ton Pickup rear fenders, 1942-46 NOS rear, 1941-47 Cabover grill/hood, 8 beer bottle H-10's, 32 big beam axle, 33 dash, 33-34 deck lid, 48-50 Pickup heater, three 1938-39 pickup hood side panels. 1940-48 Woody & panel truck dome light, clock mirror, two sizes of original bullseye picks, not shown NOS drive shaft center bearing. Some I'll sell, some I'll keep.
