37' pickup cowl vent
I am trying to free up the hinges and control mech. on my cowl vent. Not sure of the movement as it comes up. Does the cowl vent rise and then tilt back or is it hinged and tilts back directly. It is starting to free up and one side seems to be lifting up out of the cowl. This thing has a layer of rust on all the moving parts and I have yet to get it to open. Could be there is too much rust damage for me to get it to work. I am cautious to force anything and would like to understand the movement as I get things to loosen up. If anyone could explain or post a picture I would appreciate it.

Re: 37' pickup cowl vent
Here's what a 35 pickup vent looks like from underneath. Hope this helps.
