Default Parts Washer Liquid

I have finally gotten a nice shop to work on the 36 Fordor. I’m getting all my tools spread out and I need to put some cleaning liquid in my parts cleaning cabinet.
The cleaning liquid has to be mild smelling and non flammable.
What are you using that works under these guidelines? Grew up using gasoline but that’s just not an option anymore.
Thanks

Found this at Tractor supply, I’m sure NAPA has something similar.

What's the matter with mineral spirits? Used it for years.

Sorry. I didn't catch the disclaimer about NON Flamable. My bad.

Mineral Spirits works great but the smell might cause a divorce

Do not get Oil Eater. It's water based and doesn't work.

I have been using mineral spirits during my 59 years of married life (so far). I might add that my wife has a very keen sense of smell. I jokingly refer to her as a Bloodhound, and she has never complained. About mineral spirits, that is.

I did a fare bit of research and most I read said CRC “Ozzy Juice”, it water based cleaner, I got some for my parts washer and over the span of about 3 or 4 months it’s lifted the paint off my parts washer AND because it's water based (IF you dilute it) the humidity causes sweating and thus rusting of whatever is not submerged. It works pretty good for a water based cleaner but none seem to work like the old petroleum based cleaners. That’s my $ .02 worth

Odorless spirits & kerosene are worth the price.

Mineral spirits indeed. You'd have to really try to ignite it. Plus, it's reasonably priced, works very well as a degreasing agent and it doesn't have too strong of an odor.

I have the Tractor supply product in my parts washer, works great and low odor.

I also have a nice exhaust fan in that area and usually widows or the doors are open.

What is also very helpfull for longevity is add a nice mesh strainer for your pan tray drain. I got one on line a few years ago and got rid of that foolish strainer bag that hung down below the center drain.

This is what I have always used and it works great in the parts washer. You can cut it or not, your choice:

The cleaning formula is biodegradable and nonflammable. I always keep some in a spray bottle too.

I use industrial strength Simple Green. Biodegradable & after 24 does a decent job of cutting grease. Smells decent too.
I have found a parts washer not much better than a large tub with small hose. In other words it will not eliminate good old elbow grease.
For really grease stuff scrape first & soak in paint or lacquer thinner. The latter evaporated fast so lid is best. All outside on the petroleum products

Petroleum products will eat up pumps on Non-Commercial parts cleaners.

It's not quite that bright of a color. But it does work and the cost is not bad.

I use the same stuff I have used for 50 years. Plain ol' cleaning solvent. It says that's what it is right on the barrel. I have a big fan over the cleaning tank so no smells. The lid is self closing in case of fire. The solvent doesn't cause rust. It is very slow evaporating. If I per chance should get some on my hands, it is non irritating.

I use "Purple Power Cleaner" that I get at Wal Mart. Biodegradable, water soluble and easy on the hands if you forget to put on those gloves that are right next to the parts washer. Chap
