29 roadster door hinges ??
Do the upper door hinges stick out enough to allow the hinge pins to be removed while the hinges are attached?
I have repro hinges and need to redrill the holes to move the doors in and not sure whether to move the hinge on the post or door.. |

Re: 29 roadster door hinges ??
The pins on my top hidge would hit where door steped out. Had to remove hidge to remove pin. I enlarged holes at door post slighty to move door in. Than I could reach in and tighten nuts after doors was where I wanted it.

Mine need to move in almost 1/4". With the hinges fastened to the door the top pin will not come out. That must be the right location so I need to slide the hinges in on the door post. I think I will weld up the holes in the hinges and redrill them as close as possible then do as you did if I need to fine tune them some. |
