Default '32 question again

How do you tell the difference between a reproduction roadster dash and an original ? I understand there are some good reproductions and just wondered what the differences are. Thanks

I just recently sold a repro dash with the center oval made by a guy in Arizona and other than being new it matched an original exactly.

The cage nuts on the top lip of the dash differ from those on an original, at least in the case of one made by Brookville. The same applies to the other cage nuts on a Brookville body. I haven't tried to fit a repro dash to an original body or vice versa, but I'd wager some tweaking of the repro dash would be required (as with many reproduction sheet metal parts) if attached to an original body.
