I guess they haven't found anyone to carry it forward, too bad. I always enjoy reading it.

It's not just the magazine. It's the whole club which can't function without it.
Its no longer a possibility its defibrillator time

Surely there is someone out there with the skills to assemble the magazine 6 times a year. I would do it in an instant if I only had the skills, which I don't. There is already a publisher and mailing list and facilities to handle that. We could all start contributing tips, pictures, personal stories, history, reprints you name it. I'll love it and so will you.

I understand there is even a small stipend to someone who would step up to the plate in addition to the thanks hundreds of us who would like it to continue, and of course a feather in their cap forever. One of you reading this is just playing on your computer like I am and you have the skills to do it. Take it on. Damn, how I miss my brain

It is too fine an organization and publication to go out like this. I would certainly bump up my subscription rate to see it continue good solid trusted and tested performance for favorite rides instead of more yap.

I sat in on the meeting when Ron Mosher took the job editing the FAST magazine. Having some experience in the magazine biz and I would rather herd cats. It’s too bad that there is some bad blood between FAST and SOSS. Combining both magazines would be a win win.

The latest and probably the last issue is in the mail. Some have received it, not me but I have spies! The Club has run out of money, dues were not updated over time like they should have been. Too bad but not too late if someone is interested in taking it over.

I hear rumors that a group in Nor Cal are going to try and keep the Hill Climbs going without the magazine.

That would be great, but the mag and the technical articles were what made the organisation.

I think the NorCal group will continue on their own, and the Speedster Reunion in Lincoln, NE will continue, on odd-numbered years as before.
