Canadian park pass (attached to radiator)
Does anyone have any information on the Canadian park passes? I notice 4 holes that I was told was for attaching a wire to the radiator.
I've included pictures of the front and back of the 1934 version. The Beaver has some great detail and sticks out as if 3D. Does anyone have other years? I wonder what years they started and ended. I was told there was a Moose or Buffalo version. Did any parks in the USA do something similiar? Last edited by Neil Mylar LakewoodCA; 02-10-2014 at 06:25 PM. |

Neil:
Nice badge; I've seen several of them sell on eBay and they command a pretty hefty price. Here's a buffalo one that brought $350 plus shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Canadas-Nati...item461718cab2 Here's one with just like yours with a beaver from 1934 that brought $190.50 plus shipping (maybe it was yours?): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1934-SASKATC.../380789969473?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item58a8d9d241

Since I'm not from Canada I'll just have to venture a guess. Based upon the listing of one on ebay (a 1933 Beaver pass), the S was for "Saskatchewan" and the N was for "Natural" and the R was for "Resources". Surely some fellow FB'er from Canada will chime in, eh? Fred
