Default Pressure Plate

I'm replacing the pressure plate in my '31 coupe. I noticed that some vendors have the option of either buying a new pressure plate or a rebuilt one. Is it better to buy an original rebuilt or a new reproduction?

Thanks.

I'm using a good used original I picked up years ago at a swap meet. It's smooth as silk.

I have a stack of good used pressure plates. Likely close to 20 of them in the parts shed. Rod
