Default '32 radiator cap

I'm running an original '32 radiator that has been recored with a 4 core with an 81a flathead. I'm in Denver so I'm above sea level, what lbs radiator cap should I be using? I have a 14 on it now.

Water takes longer to boil when you are a mile high above sea level. The air gets even thinner if you drive up into the front range. Skip Haney makes a 3 lb valve that connects to the overflow tube on those older radiators that should work for you. You just use the flat rubber seal cap that closes off the top. I wouldn't want to use anything more than a 4 lb cap on cars made before 1942. If an early type 4 lb pressure cap will reach down into the lower boss in the radiator inlet and actually seal against it, it might work but that's why Skip made the overflow tube valve. The older radiators weren't designed for any pressure at all.
