Default 1934 Fordor 2nd gear quit working

1st, 3rd and reverse work fine. There was no noise it’s just gone. Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards

broken the rear 2nd gear thrust washer...you'll need to pull the trans out to fix that one....

A couple of thing could cause your issue. Suggest your first course of action is to remove the top of the transmission so you can see inside. If you drain the oil you can watch for debris.

This is exactly what I experienced with the tranny in my '34..."broken the rear 2nd gear thrust washer"...

I found the issue to be the 2nd gear rear thrust washer like some of you suggested. Thanks to everyone for your help, I really appreciate it very much.
Kind regards,
David

A previous owner of my '33 installed a '39 trans(w/its 'swan' floor shift; but you wouldn't 'want to go that far'; although, if your trans has to be 'pulled', it's a thought to consider . . . (?) Thank you -

Is this a common '34 problem? Is '33 the same trans? Thank you!

The transmissions from 1932 though 1935 had a lot of similarities.
