Default Zenith Carb Rebuild

I am rebuilding a Zenith 1 carb. How far do you screw in the secondary well. Until it bottoms out, or even where the treads start?

The secondary well must be screwed all the way down until it stops. Otherwise, the idle jet will be crushed when you put the carburetor together. Have you flow tested your jets to make sure the carburetor performs correctly? Good luck, Ed

I haven’t flow tested the jets yet. Just wasn’t sure the secondary well was supposed to be screwed all the way until it stops or not. It screws down way past where the threads start. I was afraid if I screwed it down too far that it may restrict flow elsewhere
