Default Master Cylinder

Looking for a rebuildable OEM FORD C9AZ-2140-D Master Cylinder. Noted for a 67-70 Mustang or 67-69 LTD with Drum/Drum and Manual Brakes.
Thanks!

You can get a rebuilt unit from Autozone for $30 part # FENCO M1485 a lot of guys in my 52-59 Ford forum have used them,I recommend those because in many cases they are Bendix cores.A new Bendix from:http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...498&cc=1332313 is only $38.79 I prefer Bendix as Raybestos is mostly off shore crap and have had bad results with them. You might want to also check out this posted by one of our Group members.http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...498&cc=1332313

You are money ahead to buy a master cylinder that is already rebuilt. I have found that by the time that you have honed the rust pits out of the old master cylinder, you have exceed its bore limits. Buy a rebuilt one and you will know what you have. With the older master cylinders, there usually isn't a core charge anymore because they don't want your old core back.

Would that piece be suitable for a 53 sedan? I would like to convert to a dual chamber master. No discs.
