Its time for the Back To The Fifties show this weekend. 12,000 cars ('64 and older) is the average count. Any Barn'ers going?

I'll be there with my '36 indigo blue 5 window with "yeah, it's a flathead!" on the hood side.

I was filling up with non-ox yesterday in preparation for the drive in to the show and a guy at the other pump came over. He said he drove a '34 5 window with a souped up flathead back in the early 50's. Fun to visit with him and he was really happy he came over because he thought the BTT50's was next week so he would have missed it. He said he goes every year.

I will be there looking for a new flathead for my 47 Ford Tudor. Discovered the engine oil turned to a milkshake, and found coolant in the valley after removing the intake manifold.

Registration numbers were given as 11,707. While that doesn't convert to exact number of vehicles.........there were enough to keep me busy. Swap meet was more collectibles than old car parts (my opinion).
Next year they will have the construction done and there will be more grass parking. And then there will be a Sweet Martha's Cookie palace on the north end.......
Number one seller on the fairgrounds, no matter what time of year.

Martha cookies sells buckets at the MN fair also. Dang they do well and are great. My mom still outranks them.

Missed it this yr again. one of these yrs...

Traveled down that way for a different reason, some real head turner cars on the road.
