Hi Graeme
265 Canadian Ford models were imported in 1941 to NZ. The passenger cars [mostly for Services] had the '42 front as production ended Feb '42. The commercials [ remember all the '41 light pick ups that were rodded] had the '41 styling. The cars I have seen were all done as Army cars. Cheers.

My Amercian 42 had a very different grill, one of the ones I wish I hung on to. granted the dash was made of soy plastic as henry thought that bio plastic made sense, it did.... Was not a fan of the fulton shield later in life.

Well that explains the 42 Ford I saw here with the 41 dash. I knew it came in during the war probably for the Services, but now you have solved the mystery for me. Thankyou.
