FYI high speed miss

In my newly acquired Ford instruction manual, also in modelabasics.com
High speed miss check for fuel flow. I had three fuel filters, a glass sediment after the firewall shut off ( late 31 indented ), cast iron side bowl filter, and a inlet filter in the carb. I removed the filter in the glass sediment,removed the inlet filter in the carb. When for a test ride on the same road as before, and the high speed miss is gone! At lease for now. In a past thread Mike K suggested that the side bowl filter was all that is needed, and easy to clean by opening the petcock in the bottom of the filter!
