Default oli pan and block paint color

I have a 59AB in a 41 ford. is the correct motor color blue for that year? the motor its self is a 46-48. and the oil pan black?

1941 blocks were painted green. Oil pans were black.
Being as your engine is obviously not correct for your car, I'd suggest you paint it the color you prefer.

Blue is the color for 46-48. As Kube indicates, your choice. I dont much care for the blue, and I've painted the engine in my 47 green (black pan). It's not 'correct', it's just my choice. My car was EFV8 judged in the 90's, and judging is long past for me.
