Default Phil Turner, Berts parts man

this is an apolligy from me to Phil for my post on the crushed float, after reading a p/m from him(which was very polite) and Phil explaining where that statement came from, it was told as a joke and humourous response to the question as to how the float got crushed to a customer, and was in no way meant to be taken as gospel or a serious answer, i do want to thank Phil for the p/m explaing that statement, and i am sorry if my post caused him and discomfort or embaressement, next time i will run over in my head any smart ass remarks i have before i post them, and Phil, i hope this is enough to make amends

Phil and Steve are both gentlemen and just great guys.They are the #1 asset to our hobby of A's. Would be lost without them.
I would never believe anything negative about them, period! As Ford3 points out none was intended.
We go on down the road! DD- happy happy happy

I have been known on many occasions to forget the cardinal rule about making comments;
"Be sure Brain is in Gear before engaging Mouth!"
Hopefully we can all look back and laugh about it.

My father always told me, 'You learn the most about a man, NOT by the things he does right, but rather by how he handles his mistakes.'

Fathers used to talk to their sons about honor. That doesn't seem to happen anymore. It is clear that you are a man with honor.

Thanks for the update.

In not trying to raise eyebrows & blood pressure between our different groups of most honorable U. S. Model A Citizens, the very first thought that came to my mind when reading about Model A carburetor floats that shrink after coming from high altitudes is that perhaps a few in congress often experience brain shrinks when they land near sea level in Washington D. C.

Especially lately, looks like the more they fly back & forth to D. C. the worse it gets.

And yes, Phil & Steve are wonderful & interesting gentlemen with lots of common sense & Model A knowledge, plus lots of humor after you get to know them.
