Default It runs again!

Several months ago the Babbit on number three decided to find a new home. Tonight I finally got the woody running again. SOOO HAPPY about that! This is my first major project on a Model A, I am glad to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Here is a pan full of babbit, I ended up rebuilding the bottom end.

So, that's what the tray is there for..............to catch falling babbit.

When I bought my 29 Tudor, my center main babbit was laying in the bottom of the oil pan.

The wheels are an era Model A accessory made by Motor Wheel. They are 19" and bolt right on as long as you have the unique lug nuts needed. My Dad bought the wheels in 1967 at the Hershey swap meet, then started looking for a Station Wagon to put them on. He bought the wagon in 1969 in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
