Re: New movie with some model A's
I was watching that earlier modelapickup31! They seemed to be moving a little slow from my perspective.

Re: New movie with some model A's
My 1930 Model A was used as an extra for the Public Enemies movie back around 2008. I didn't own it then though but still adds some interest and history...

Looks good will have to watch for it. A movie with lots of outside scenes with old cars is good. Refreshing to see the cars we see in the trailer anyway look authentic no Glasstique monsters or Shay replicas.

Re: New movie with some model A's
The is a 29 townsedan that is rolled over in the movie. That car was bought by the studio from my local club member. He didn't know what was going to happen to the car and was in failing health so no one told him. the car was prepared for the roll over by installing a roll cage and the wheels were reinforced. The car completely broke in half after the roll over. I know the guy that bought the parts and saw the car after the filming!

Re: New movie with some model A's
A delightful show on Netflix is "Miss Fisher's Mysteries" with lots of Model A's, AA's, and other period vehicles. An Australian production set in the early 30's in Melbourne, the show is elaborately costumed (Era fashion folks will go nuts, my daughter does), with very detailed backgrounds. The acting is great, and the plots very well done.
Another show also on Netflix is "Foyle's War" set during WWII Britain. A UK production, again with a lot of fabulous vehicles from the 40's including the occasional Model A or AA. Lots of war era British and American military vehicles as well as Spitfires.
