Default Correct fan hub length on 60HP

Does anyone have a stock 60HP engine in their 37-39 Ford? I need to know the correct length of the fan hub. Is it 2" or 4 1/8"? The Green Bible shows it 4 1/8" but I've seen two on OLD engines that are 2". The 37 60HP in the Early Ford V8 Museum I am told measures 2". I want to do this engine properly if it is going to the museum. Thanks guys.

Ya know, Counselor....maybe you worry too much. There obviously must be at least TWO variants....the 2 incher, & the 4-1/8 incher. Why don't you just do a 4-1/8 incher so that there is some variety. And think about it like this .....Folks at The Museum (when the time comes) are going to be way more interested in seeing your toilet paper roll, rather than worryin' over that 2-1/8" difference between pulleys. Attorneys are interested in Facts. "Just the Facts, Maam" according to Joe Friday. I have a 2.5" that I'll go with if I cannot establish which length is correct. If it is going into museum it should be spot on.

I've mentioned it and they say they don't have an iron side 60HP, and that's about as far as we have gotten so far.

Curious too, have they accepted it to keep? They seem to have a massive amount of display engines, as that seems to be the main thing people wish to donate/

The 60HP engine used a special 2 bladed fan in 1940, the 1937-39's used the same fan as the 85hp engines

Heck I offered them the oldest production flathead known to exist in private ownership (18-124) and was turned down. Admittingly I understand shy they are overcrowded with large display items.

Well, at least my intentions were good. I'll check further a little farther down the line. I have one grandson that may be interested. In the interim I will continue my quest for the correct parts and my mission for getting it cleaned up and lookin' purdy. And the hub on the 85 engines is how long?? Inquiring minds want to know.
