There's gotta be a local club. I would start there. JMO
Or, when the weather warms up, go to some cruise nights or weekend shows and ask.

Not a model a but I talked to maaco about doing a car for myself. The shop manager was into cars and they did 'special' projects as well as the $199. jobs. They quoted me a pretty good price but in the end I decided to do the job myself. They are all independently owned so you may want to try a couple until you hear the right thing. Then again they may simply not be interested in that kind of job in your area.

A guy I worked with had a paint job done a MAACO a number of years ago. When I saw it I asked how he got such a good job, told me he would pay the manager and painter 100 each extra if after job was done it looked as good or better than factory.

Our local Maaco will use any paint you supply yourself if you buy it. I have had them paint
With PPG products. They have done it on a week end when they can take the extra time
With good results.

19.99 was the base price, it was extra if you wanted them to
wash the car or roll the windows up.

His price creeped up to $99.95 by '79 at least in the Chicago area check out his ad. That included 20 dollars worth of 'free' metal work

I had a buddy in hs that had Maaco paint his mustang. It was red, they didn't too bad of a job but for some reason they decided to paint the interior panels 'as a bonus'. They got the rear side trim painted on one side only before they ran out of paint. Rest of the int. was white!
