Talking Just a guy and his dog...

Doing some body mockups last night and the dog wanted to join in. He's ready and having me thinking about adding doors...

Enjoy

Looks like you’ve got a great start on your project. I would opt for doors so the dog can go with. Perfect cruising buddy. When he gets old you can make him a running board step so he can still jump in. Have fun Frank

Ever considered a restraint for the dog (and yourself)? Even hitting the brakes will turn that dog into a pug.

My dog has a harness where I can buckle him to the backseat. Easypeezy and you are off down the road. Great looking car and have fun.

It was funny, I was just checking the seat heights and ergonomics and he hopped up beside me. Offhand does anyone know how high the top of front seat edge is above the floor? At 9" it feels good but I'm awfully exposed. At 5" I feel like I'm a lot lower in the body.

I have a build thread but it's moving at a glacial pace.

Mine does too more or less. He's always excited but doesn't like longer than 20 minute rides. Gets to farting and oh my does he stink.

Making a Bratton's list / trip today and the dog is not going along...

Yup, dogs love to ride. I knew a sheep farmer who always had the dogs in the back of his ute when he went anywhere. As soon as he walked to the vehicle, the dogs leapt into the back with great excitement. Eventually, the tray rusted out but he was able to find a decent second hand one. When it came time to change them over, he undid the holding bolts, jacked up the old one and put it on stands, then he jumped into the front to move the cab/chassis. The dogs as usual, leapt into the back. He says you could see the confusion on their faces as he drove away without them.
Dogs are my favourite non human people!
