Can't get my truck to start, no fire, changed points plugs cond. coil, set timming, What next?

How about some history? Has the truck run since you have owned it, when did it run last and why did you start changing things? Did you do anything else that you didn't mention? Take the top off of the distributer cap and see if there is arcing as the points open and close. You should be able to turn the engine until the points are closed and then open them to get a spark both at the points and from the coil wire.

Truck ran last year, when i tried to start it this year the motor was froze, took head and oil pan off, got it moving again, replaced ring and put it back together.

How's the compression? All cylinders? You probably should trace your wiring all the way from the battery, through the ignition switch, throught the coil and to ground, just to be sure you have a complete and functioning circuit. Have the coil checked or swap it for a known-to-be-good one. Old coils can be a source of problems. Good luck.

Did you get it timed correctly? Are you running a B distributor? If so you need to make sure you have the B timing cover. Rest of the comments here are right on.

My guess, based only on these words..i.e.- 'took it apart'. Well, is it timed (dist installed correctly/timing gears, etc)correctly. Very first thing (to start) is that it has to have is spark/electricity...is there?

Probably a stupid question but even if it is timed totally wrong, wouldn't you still get a spark? Just not at the correct time? If it froze up just sitting, my Guess would be a corroded or bad connection somewhere. Also are you sure the condensor and stuff you put on was good?

Any chance the lifter bores are rusty and all the valves were pushed open and remain there? If you have spark go on to compression test.
