Default What are these holes for in Sub Rail Extensions?

What are these 2 holes for in the 30-31 Sub Rail Ext? were they rivet holes or bolt holes? to attach subframe to cowl?

I see the small rives on the sub rail flange but wondered about these 2 bigger ones?

Thanks!

Don't forget the wooden block in between the body and the frame bracket.
