The other night I got caught in a pretty heavy downpour and ended up with a lot of water leaking into the cab of my pickup. Looks like I have all the needed gaskets, but I've posted a bunch of pictures and was wondering if anyone can tell me if I'm missing some or if I just need new ones?

I really don't have much experience with windshield leaks but I imagine it would help to know about where the water was coming in at and at what speed maybe it occurred.... Good luck.

My windshield seals look a little thicker than yours, or maybe it's just hard to see in your photos.

The panel above the W S appears to be missing a number of nails that fasten it to the wood header.That would allow water to run betweem them in a heavy rainstorm.

Thanks. I'll remove the visor and use some tacks to fasten that. Are there special nails I should use?

i have been chasing one on my slant for 2 years now with no luck... I have caulked, sealed, and done it all and alas....it leaks in a storm!!! so be it...

I had several nails missing on the upper panel & I replaced them with 3/4" spiral body nails by installing them on a slight angle with a rod with a shallow concave hole in the end & long enough to clear the front of visor,then used the hammer to install.There was no need to remove the visor as the top material is nailed thru slots in visor.

Thanks, I'll try to make that work. Did that stop your leak?

You might try using a lawn blower or shop vac outlet side and pinpoint the area with someone on the inside locating the place or places
the air is getting in. May have to remove a portion of the headliner if you can't see the inside. Soapy water may help depending on size of leak
