Turn signal testing
I Have an old Auto Lamp 9000 turn signal switch and wiring that was in the '40 when I got it. It was not hooked up. Before I reinstall it, I would like suggestions on how to test it. I have a NOS Tung-Sol 6V 3 prong flasher, and thought that would be the 1st thing to test. The NOS one is the same Mfg & part as the one that was wired into the Auto Lamp unit. Thank you.

What do the P and L stand for on the flasher ? The fused power is hooked up to X.
I have a Auto Lamp 9000 wiring diagram. |

L = Load, the lamps you want to flash, usually wired to the turn signal switch before the lamps. P = Pilot or indicator in the dash.
