Hershey Newbie Question
Planning my first trip to Hershey in October and I was checking out all the maps, information, etc on their website, but had a couple of questions. Is the car corral where they have cars for sale or are these show cars? Also, do people have cars for sale at their actual vendor site or is there one main place for cars that are for sale?

Re: Hershey Newbie Question
I have seen cars for sale in the car corral and cars for sale at individual vendor spaces.

Re: Hershey Newbie Question
My advice is to wander the swap meet during the day. The cars in the corral will be there overnight and they are well-lit, you can still look at them and if you see something you like you can come back in the morning to see it in better light.

Re: Hershey Newbie Question
We are getting there on Wed and staying through Saturday. My first time so I'm getting a bit overwhelmed looking at the maps of the fields!! Don't know quite where to start or how to keep track of where I've been or where I'm going!!

Re: Hershey Newbie Question
It's best to print out field maps and take them with you. There are only a few entrance points to the flea market fields across from the parking fields. They sell vendors directories at these entrance points and they list by category vendors, and their location. Unless you have real good eyesight I would suggest a small magnifying glass good for looking close at field maps helpful. The red (east end) and the green and orange fields (west end) are smaller and easier to do initially. The chocolate fields (middle) - north and south are bigger and require more time. Wear good comfy walking shoes and enjoy yourself . Wish I were going.

I did print out copies of all the maps on their site. Got some comfy walking shoes and am hoping I can see everything in the time I'm there. |

Don't forget to re-read your thread from a few months ago where a lot of people weighed in.

Re: Hershey Newbie Question
The most important thing to take with you is a pair of Dr. Scholl's Gel Pad insoles for your shoes.
