hi guys ,my handbrake cable is at its max adjustment ,I was told there is a way of making it shorter but wasn't told how ,,,,any ideas . thanks

they used to sell cable adjusters just for that not sure if still available now ,have you adjusted the the clevis at the handbrake handle ? a last resort would be to cut the cable and splice it with 2 small U clamps

Isn't there a turnbuckle for adjustment? My '41 P-U has one.

They still make them. One of the oldest automobile accessories in continuous production. This one is a Dorman product.

And as I have seen and done many years ago, if one cable adjuster doesn't do it, then two or three will.
