Yes I just looked at both of mine and have the same crack in them. One is worse than the other.

After two weeks I still did not get a bill.

To all,
The one I got and placed on the car is perfect. However on this post, along with the other post reporting problems, I inspected the other two that I bought, and indeed, they have a crack.
I apologize if my recommendation of this product has caused anyone inconvenience.

If anyone has a clear cap purchased from Mike's that they feel has a problem, I would suggest they give Mike's a call. I just talked to them, and I can assure you they were more than helpful in resolving my issue of the clear caps. We are fortunate in our Model A community to have nearly all of our major distributors that set the bar for integrity.

I've got two from Mike's and they seem to be fine. Even with a crack that you can hardly see shouldn't effect their performance. They are a novelty after all.

I agree. I cannot even feel the crack, it might be within the plastic, but it works. For less than $10 I can't complain

I have a clear cap from Mike's with no flaws, but I only use it to check my spark since I use a modern cap from Snyder's. Does anyone have a part number for Napa or O'Reilly's for the modern caps? I have a hard time justifying 14.00 shipping from the parts houses whenever I feel the need to replace mine.
